2020 was a very transformative year for Yolt with the launch of the new and improved Yolt app. which built on the pre-existing version by adding in a savings proposition and spending card with baked-in benefits.
The challenge faced was to build on the brand to represent the 5 pillars of the new app. which are All in one place, Save while you spend, Spend smart, Reach your goals & Grow your savings
With these 5 pillars appealing to different segments of our audience we created different journeys through acquisition, onboarding and lifecycle in order not to overwhelm our users.
We decided to strategically assign the colours in our pallet to represent each of these 5 pillars. With an aim to build an association with the messaging and brand colours.
